Description

During the life cycle of the Aisin SL solenoid, the thrust washer suffers from distortion and hardening (annealing). This can cause the inductor piston to begin its operational stroke from the wrong position which can lead to transmission related shift problems. Adequate Aisin solenoid repair requires the fitting of a new thrust washer each time you replace the solenoid bushings. This will ensure that correct travel and measurement have been set.
